Roland
Industrial Electronics has been present in North America for over 15
years. Before being established as an independent company in 1996, the company
was initially represented by the well known sensor companies Turck Multiprox
and Sick Optic Electronic.
Roland develops, manufactures, and markets sensors and electronics for the
sheet metal processing and tire industries. In 1997 it aquired the Double
Sheet Detector line of Peco Controls Corporation in California.
