The DPM Sales Tool is a unique, on-demand product pricing program. The
DPM Sales Tool delivers the entire breadth of configurable Numatics product
for the customer.
Using Numatics' patent-pending Dynamic Product Modeling (DPM) configuration
platform, we can provide you with literally every feasible configuration
of our Numatics products.
So why should you use it?
Normally, you need to call our offices to get pricing and part numbers
– especially if you haven’t ordered the parts before. Calling
out complex valve or FRL manifolds can be confusing, especially when you
start adding the electronic controls to them.
This is one of the many problems the DPM Sales Tool solves for all of
us. (Yes, we use it internally.) DPM contains all of the product knowledge
inside, so that products can be built "virtually" without human
intervention.
Removing the Part Number Barrier
We understand that part numbering systems can get in the way of your productivity
in ordering. The problem is, how do we relay all of the wonderful possibilities
of our Numatics products? DPM answers this question by allowing you to
select the product you want by choosing attributes of the product. The
DPM Sales Tool will create the part number for you. In some of the more
complex cases, such as valve manifold assemblies, the program will display
an image to further aid your quoting activities.
Billions of Prices
Unlike a traditional database price lookup, which is limited to pricing
products that have been previously ordered, the DPM technology builds
each product to your specification in real-time. DPM delivers literally
billions of product prices. This would not normally fit on a CD (or many
CDs) or in some cases, possibly your computer system.
Clean Configuration
DPM not only produces an accurate price, but it also determines the feasibility
of the configuration. If there is an invalid product configuration, it
lets you know immediately, both educating and keeping a mistake from occurring.
Keeping Current
Catalogs are a wonderful way to disclose product information, but they
go out of date too quickly. The DPM Sales Tool will check for updates
each time you use it, so you can always be current with Numatics' pricing
and products.
