Pro Six (6-Axis) The new EPSON Pro Six PS3 is a compact, high speed 6-axis robot (sometimes also called vertical articulated robot) that provides superior performance with a compact footprint. The rigid arm design combined with the advanced EPSON servo control technology results in high speed motion and low vibration even when high precision high speed cycles are required. The Pro Six PS3 robot features brakes on all axes and has the flexibility of being mounted in table top, wall or ceiling configurations. The EPSON Pro Six PS3 uses the same industry leading EPSON RC520 PC based controller that controls our popular E2 Series Robots (SCARA) and EPSON EZ Modules (Linear Modules) thus allowing customers to take advantage of one controls solution for their entire factory. This also makes the learning and use of Pro Six robots for new and especially experienced EPSON RC+ developers very easy. The power and flexibility of the EPSON RC520 PC based controller also reduces workcell integration by providing all the functionality normally required for a typical robot workcell in one compact package. Options for the EPSON Pro Six PS3 robots include: Vision Guide, Active X Controls, DeviceNet (Master & Slave), Profibus (Master & Slave), Ethernet I/O, and many others.
