| Servo Motion Control Seminar | |
Description: Servo motion control is used to accurately position electric motors in industrial machines. Properly applied, servo motion increases your machines' speed, accuracy, flexibility, and reliability. This seminar presents the primary components of servo motion control systems: the controller (the brain of the system); the drive (the muscle of the system); and the position sensor (the eyes of the system). We will demonstrate how to select the best components for your machine. We will then examine the servo control loop--the calculations made in real-time by the controller--and how variables in the loop (gains) can be adjusted (tuned) to affect machine performance. Once it is selected, installed, and tuned, we will use application development tools to customize the system for your machine. Finally, we will discuss how servo motion control will work with the automation technology you are already using in your factory. Space is limited to 25! |
