POWER SUPPLY PRODUCTS
High performance specifications and extensive international certifications ensure that the SDN-C is suitable for the most extreme environments, including hazardous locations and off-shore applications. Features like wide operating temperature range, power boost capability, and adjustable output voltage ensure reliable operation in the harshest industrial environments. Parallel operation, extensive LED diagnostics, and universal AC or DC input voltage simplify installation and maintenance. For added reliability, the SDN-C power supplies can be used with the SolaHD™ Redundancy modules to provide redundant power supply operation.
Silver Line (SL) Series single and multi output linear power supplies follow the industry accepted footprint for open frame power supplies. Standard screw terminal connections and optional covers are offered for safety considerations.
Power Supply Redundancy (RED) Modules support redundant power supply operation by continually monitoring the condition of two power supplies connected to a single load. The RED modules are certified internationally, for harsh industrial environments and hazardous locations. The MOSFET design of the RED modules generate less heat than traditional diode-based designs. The diagnostic LEDs assist in balancing the load between the two power supplies. Combined these features provide extended life for both the power supplies and the components housed in the same enclosure. These compact units work with SolaHD™ SDN-D, SDN-C and SDN-P Series power supplies, as well as most power supplies capable of parallel operation.
SVL Series power supplies are perfect for high volume, controlled environment applications where essential features are the only requirement. The DIN rail mounting capability provides quicker and easier installation while allowing for design flexibility. Some models are certified for Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations. Power supplies with single-phase input power supplies range from 15 to 480 Watts in 5, 12, 24 and 48 Volt combinations. Three-phase input power supplies are available with 24 Vdc output from 120 to 960 Watts.

SCD Series rugged DC to DC converters provide the reliable power needed for industrial equipment and instrumentation devices when AC power is not convenient or accessible. They accept a wide range of input voltages, and are ideal for stabilizing the output voltage to protect sensitive equipment from the wide voltage swings that typically occur in a battery powered system. They are a convenient way to power sensors, transducers and other devices that require their own DC voltages.
SDP™ Low Power DIN Rail Series Power Supplies provide efficient power from 5 to 48 Vdc and up to 100 Watts in a choice of compact, lightweight DIN rail mounted units. These affordable power supplies offer the exceptional reliability and advanced features required for industrial use. PowerBoost™ overload circuitry starts up industrial loads that can cause ordinary power supplies to foldback or shutdown.
IP67-rated SCP-X Series power supplies can be mounted almost anywhere on a machine, conveyor, or wall. No enclosure required. Quick-connect cables ensure the IP67 rating and eliminate costly wiring. Available from 100 Watts to 240 Watts.
SDN-P™ DIN rail power supplies provide sag immunity, transient suppression and noise tolerance to handle the most demanding applications. Power factor correction meets European directives, while hazardous location approvals and optional redundant accessories provide the flexibility to suit a wide range of application needs and environments. SDN-P DIN rail power supplies have a wide operational temperature range, high tolerance to shock and vibration and a rugged design.

HZ Series industrial control transformers are designed for applications where cost or heat issues make mounting the transformer outside the control panel necessary. This encapsulated transformer has copper windings for industrial applications. The UL Class +180°C insulation system allows for a +80°C temperature rise under full load. Standard models are UL Listed/NEMA Type 3R (rain proof); however custom models are available for UL Listed/NEMA Type 4, 4X and 12 requirements.
Electromagnetic control components demand inrush currents up to 10 times the transformer's nominal rating without sacrificing secondary voltage stability beyond practical limits. International Series transformers fully comply with IEC and NEMA standards and are available with IEC touchproof covers (IP20).
SBE Copper Wound Open Style Design Transformers with interleaved copper windings reduce I²R losses and maximize efficiency. They meet or exceed the electrical requirements of NEMA, ANSI, NMTBA and JIC. These higher power capacity transformers provide voltage regulation in excess of NEMA recommendations without exceeding +55°C rise.
